Clifty Falls State Park (part 1)

I took so many great pictures during our trip to Clifty Falls State Park over the weekend, I have to split them up into two posts.

Clifty Falls features a park rife with waterfalls, trails to hike and absolutely beautiful scenery. The following are shots of scenes we enjoyed at lookout points during our travel in this substantially sized park. My wife, my friend and I spent a relaxing, yet fun filled day while here. If you wish to hear about a few of the good times we had, click this link.

Kelly, you visit the most beautiful tranquil spots....and look! You guys don't have any snow on the ground. Ours is still white, well really more grey-taupe colored at this point. I'm glad to see your photos. Thanks!

Hi Kelly,
Excuse one moment while I talk to blogger, 'Hello blogger! I have tried five times to leave a comment and you keep screwing up and leaving me some gibberish message and comment error. Now, effin stop! Thank you'...
Sorry about that. Anyway, I was trying to say what great photos and you are blessed to live amongst such beauty. Photography and getting out amongst the great outdoors in most therapeutic
Take care and thanks for sharing.

THE SNEE- Yeah, I'm lucky there are a lot of nice parks in my state and the surrounding states. All of them are very well kept. And yes, thank God, the snow has finally gone. It got up to 73 degrees today. Amazing. Sorry to hear you still have the dirty snow on your ground. I figured it would have been gone from your area by now. Maybe your temps will rise soon and high enough to make it vanish. I know it's a hassle.

I'm glad you liked the shots. I had fun taking them. Take care!

klahanie- Don't you hate that when Blogger does that to ya? Perhaps the gibberish is an alien language meant to confuse you or perhaps it is aliens and they're sending you a secret message that they're coming for your Wee Folk. Oh NO!

Thanks for the great photos compliment. Yeah, I truly do feel blessed in the fact we have so many nice, scenic parks around here that let you do just about anything except maybe ride a horse in the buff on the horse trails. Darn.

Try to have a peaceful, no-stress day tomorrow... which is actually today for you right now. Take care, Gary.

Wow... I really need to explore a place so magical. I have many favorite spots near where I live, but just haven't been out to explore their beauty in so long. Shame on me. I think I'm gonna make that a big goal over the next few weeks. Stimuli changes everything, mainly perspective.

Awesome, Kelly. Thank you for this magical lil sanctuary of awesome & tranquil photography.

Being out in nature does change your perspective on things. You are correct, madam. And it soothes the soul and mind in ways not all people appreciate. That would be a great idea- to go out and commune with nature. For me, it's like a natural tranquilizer- not to mention being very therapeutic.

You're welcome, LilPixi. I hope you go to those favorite spots and get what you need from being there. And now I'm off to respond to your other comment on PC.

Take good care of yourself.

This looks like a really relaxing place for a Sunday morning! I missed doing this with my family and then end it with a picnic...good times!

Tasos- It really is a serene place to go and allow nature to instill peace within you. I can see why you would miss doing this with your family. Ending a day like that with a picnic would be the perfect finish to a beautiful day. Take care.
