Murals About Town

There are many murals about the town that I live nearby. This first one was taken at a Mexican restaurant. I really liked it- so I took a shot of it.

Many of the murals on these old buildings, in the downtown area, depict scenes which would certainly be familiar back in the late 1800's and early 1900's in the vicinity of this area.

This is an old river town. One of these buildings was actually an old horse stable back in the day when the streets were made of cobblestone.

A lot of these old brick buildings have had a lot of work done to them in years gone by in order to survive.

Hi Kezza. These are very interesting and rather unusual. I also think they make a place attractive to visitors.
I think the reclining lady in the first picture is, er, rather buxom isn't she?

Hi bazza,

Yeah, I thought they were pretty cool, too. They tell the history of the town and they do serve as both a greeting and a telling story about the area. That lady in the first picture has some mighty fine hooters, for sure. :)

Hey Kelly,
Sorry it has taken so long to get to this very interesting posting on your pictorial site.
I like the way you have brought out a warm ambience that resonates from the murals that contrasts the rather bleak brick background.
And yes the lady in the first picture is quite the babe and um...I must go now....:)

Hi Kelly,

You published these back in the fall!!!?? I love the idea and I love the murals. And...while you fellas might be into the femme fatale featured in the first mural. I'm a fan of the man with the hammer surrounded by flames. He looks hot!

THE SNEE- Yes, I put these pics up on the site in the Fall of last year. I'm glad you liked them. Glad the hot guy with the hammer is fanning your flames of, uh, desire? lol. Sorry for getting back to you so late with this comment. I've been preoccupied with this, that and the other. Take care.

klahanie- Hi Gary... I, too, am sorry it has taken a lifetime for me to comment to your comment here. Thanks for the compliment on how contrasted the murals with the 'bleak' background of the bricks. Glad you enjoyed the sight of the lady in the first mural. She is pretty hot. :)

Thank you, Dixie. I had been wanting to photograph the murals around that town for years and I finally happened to have the camera with me when we passed through. Nice observation on the Aztec tits. :) Naughty, naughty.
